Google's own release is JAX/Flax. This file derives from the PyTorch conversion Google publishes beside it on Hugging Face, under the same terms. It is not the byte stream Google serves: tools/fetch/siglip2.py verifies the safetensors against the sha256 the Hub records, then writes the same tensors back out as an ordinary checkpoint. No tensor is altered, renamed, cast or dropped. The source files are: model-00001-of-00002.safetensors sha256 9f6da5ad2e3178b0c1197b740c9ffefee0bc733ee8759095a5ea8c4c845a3f4e model-00002-of-00002.safetensors sha256 06e64949dd7cafc4d278723533e2591145ae8e5616d2c0c5d8458de25ceede34 The tokenizer vocabulary shipped inside mozo derives from tokenizer.model in this same repository. It is Gemma's vocabulary, and Gemma's own weights are published under the Gemma Terms of Use behind a gate -- but Google publishes this copy here, ungated, in a repository licensed Apache-2.0. That is an affirmative grant by the rights holder on the artifact actually taken, not an inference from silence.
